It seems the signature was written to ’Carrie’ who she’s thanking for her input and how crucial it was to the book - Carrie’s mentioned in the book.
Often signed books are personalized to an unknown fan but in this case it’s personalized to someone who is in the book and who contributed crucial details in its content.
