This is a nice lot of post Civil War items i have found around old home sites in and around Culpeper, Va thru the years. Included are
- 2 nice rosettes with iron backs and one feels to also have a lead filling as its much heavier
- 1 ladies silver plated brass buckle made of a thick brass stock
- sterling silver spoon with a foliate design
- gold plated VMI coat button with post war backmark of D Evans ( Nice Button!)
- All brass lock with movable locking arm
- sterling silver clasp cover with foliate front and initials on the back
- small ladies sash or scarf buckle with a stone in center
- At bottom is a brass cap or lid to some type of musicians box as it carries the Musicians insignia similar to that used during the civil war. It may very well be of civil war era but i havent found any evidence to prove such.
