All little boys love trains and this is a great one to start with for a treat, birthday or save it for Christmas! It’s In working condition and has only been taken out to try it out and make sure it works! Takes 2AA batteries not included. Dated 2016. You need a Phillipshead screwdriver to open the battery cover and to replace it. I used 2AA Alkaline batteries for checking it out and it worked great with those!
