Made of solid bronze material with steel tips, this hammer is sturdy & durable with a very nice well-balanced feel in the hand. The hammer has a permanent magnetic embedded is one of the faces (the 1/4" wide face) which helps when working with small brads, tacks, & nails (the magnetic end also helps save fingers); the other end has a 7/16" diameter steel head. A very popular & great hammer for furniture & upholstery work. Note: Magnetic head should not be left in contact with steel items or it may lose magnetism. Made in the USA.
