Carrying case for pictures. This is a very old picture. Measurements are 3 1/2".×.3". A very hard plastic case. These cases were patented around 1856 and 1857. Can be hard to open. Has a green velvet liner. Shows what portraits looked like in late 1800. An old piece of history that is hard to find. Found in an old trunk purchased from a storage sell.
