The Larson Electronics HAL-48-2L-30M Hazardous Area Fluorescent Light Fixture is NRTL Listed for United States and Canada Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D - NRTL Certified to UL 1598A listed, has a T4A temperature rating and ideal for hazardous locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors may be occasionally encountered.
The HAL-48-2L-30M fixture is a 4 foot long, 2 lamp, Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous area fluorescent light and a good choice for use in applications where space is at a premium. This fixture is T4A temperature rated, comes standard with F54-T5/850/HO bulbs, and is available with optional T12/HO and T8/841 bulbs.
The lamps are protected by an aluminum framed shatter and heat resistant clear acrylic lens secured with ten draw latches and the fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy. The lamp reflector is corrosion resistant heavy gauge aluminum and coated with a high gloss reflective finish. This fixture is multi-voltage capable and is NRTL Certified to U.L. 595 and UL 1598A Marine Type approved for use marine environments. The HAL-48-2L-30M provides operators in hazardous locations with a compact, reliable and affordable lighting solution for open areas where flammable chemicals and vapors may occasionally be present.

NOTE ON LAMPS: This fixture comes equipped with F54-T5/850/HO – 54 Watt lamps producing 5,000 lumens per bulb, a 5000 Kelvin color and a 20,000 hour rated service life. We offer F48-T12/HO – 4050 lumens per bulb, 12,000 hours life, 4100 Kelvin color and F32-T8/841 – 2950 lumens per bulb, 24,000 hours life, 4100 Kelvin color tubes as lamp options for this fixture. The HAL-48-2L-30M has an electronic multi-voltage ballast and works with 120 Volt 60 HZ, 220 Volt 50 HZ, 240 Volt 60 HZ and 277 Volts 60 HZ.

Wiring and Plug:Â This hazardous location LED light is equipped with 30m (98.4 ft.) of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Standard Surface Mount Brackets:Â Each bracket is cinched to the bracket mounting peg on each side of the light. The angle of the bracket is set by tightening two cap screws on either side of the bracket. The cap screws act as a set screw. The bracket itself is mounted via a single bolt hole at the top the bracket. There are two brackets, one on each end of the light. Once the brackets are mounted to a surface (ceiling, floor or wall), the light fixture can be removed from the brackets by loosening the cap screws that hold the bracket to the mounting peg. Mounting brackets are removable. A single through hole enables the operator to install the light to any surface. Pendant mounts are available for operators who wish to mount these fixtures away from the ceiling surface.

2. Fixture arrives assembled and lamped to reduce installation time and cost. Adjustable mounting brackets enable the operator to choose any mounting angle for the fixture, where other models may only offer one or three choices.
