Japan. The Limited Edition box set features the original album, the two-disc LIVE IN ATHENS 1987, a song draft / demos CD, two DVDs, an LP version of the album and a 12 inch vinyl single. Peter Gabriel revitalized his career and scored one of the most critically and commercially successful albums of the ’80s with his 1986 release ‘So,’ which is being re-released in an expanded 25th Anniversary Edition on Oct. 2015. Launched by the enormous success of the lead single ‘Sledgehammer’ and its innovative music video — still MTV’s most-played clip of all time — ‘So’ was a worldwide hit, reaching No. 1 in the U.K., Canada, Italy, and Holland and No. 2 in the U.S. and Germany. The album also includes Gabriel classics like ‘In Your Eyes,’ the Kate Bush duet ‘Don’t Give Up’ and ‘Big Time,’ Gabriel’s parody of ’80s excess.
