Mahjong tile set, traditional design

Mahjong tiles purchased from an antique shop about 40 years ago. I was told they were Chinese mahjong tiles when I bought them. They are about twice the size of the mahjong tiles commonly used in Japan. They are made of plastic and come with a storage case.

- Tile types: To make it easy for those who don't understand kanji, they have English notation, and the numbers are also written on the characters, which is unique.
- Tile design: Traditional kanji and number printing
- Tile material: Plastic
- Color: Cream-colored tiles
- Storage case: Comes with a black storage case

- Tile size: The Japanese-made tiles I have at home are about 26mm and weigh 13g.
The tiles for sale this time are about 34mm and weigh 23g.

- About tile scratches: The surface with the tile design is not very noticeable, but the back has scratches and stains. (See photos 3 and 5, and see the enlarged photos in 17 and 18)
