shield has a plastic cover on the outside..... #provi00000040.....it is in new condition with some exceptions.......there are some small scuffs around the holes on both sides........these are way out of the vision area so no big deal.....some other tiny scattered brush marks along the bottom edge of the shield....any marks you see in the photos on the main vision area is on the plastic cover...with 1 exception....something hit the cover......there is a small dent....you can see it if you look closely......to your right near top of the green white red label....a pencil tip size......it hit the cover but i can feel the bump on the inside....so it has dented the plastic..... ......i assume the large L on the cover means .........100% made in italy..........very good condition........... with exceptions noted...........
