I played a music CD for 40 minutes using an AC adapter with this unit. I successfully skipped to the next track during playback. I successfully changed the sound quality using the two-stage mega bass function. I successfully adjusted the volume up and down. I have only confirmed the above, and have not performed any other checks. I have not tested the battery operation.
This unit does not have a speaker function; earphones or headphones are required.
