Piece of South Florida history. This is a copy of the South County Sunday Brown Wrapper. Published through the 1970s and 80s, this paper was an insert in local newspapers. It resembled a grocery bag often wrapped around advertisements and funnies section. They contained short history vignettes and and advertisement for First federal savings bank. This copy was disrupted in the summer of 1980 through the Fort Lauderdale and Sun Sentinel newspapers and contains a write of of reverend Henry Mizner along with a hurricane tracking map on the back. The map is in good condition with some crease marks from being folded along with a few holes on one side. It measures 14"x 24" or 24"x 14" depending on which side you are viewing. This nostalgic piece is a great addition to collectors of Floridahistory, journalism, meteorology and paper ephemera.
